East Sussex Social Enterprise Conference 2016

The conference has been postponed. Unfortunately we have lost the availability of a number of speakers leading up to the event. To ensure the event is full of useful opportunities for everyone attending we have decided to postpone the conference until later in the year. An announcement will be made as soon as the new date is scheduled. We expect this to be in the Autumn.

Join us on 22 March 2016 for an afternoon of inspiring speakers, topical discussions and practical workshops. This year’s conference will be addressing issues facing social entrepreneurs at every stage from start-up to sustain and scale-up.

Workshop topics include:

Investment for growth - what investment is available and how can you get involved

Financing start-ups - exploring the various options for funding your new social venture

Impact measurement - how can you capture it, use it and share it

European funding - what's available now and what to look out for

Community enterprise - funding and support for community businesses

There will also be an opportunity to help us shape the future of support for social entrepreneurs as we launch both the East Sussex Social Enterprise Strategy and the formation of Social Enterprise East Sussex CIC.

Please arrive from 12:30pm for networking before the opening speakers at 1pm.
